Great Adventures in Berlin
This year, our family vacation went to Berlin, a city with an interesting and complex history.
We had picnics in the grass during the hot days, and we watched the thunder strike right before us when the summer rain came pouring down.
Someone even brought a midsummer pole – to keep traditions alive even when we were away from home.
We walked up and down Kurfürstendamm until our feet hurt, looking at all the different shops. We sampled some of the more unusual local cuisine and many of the local pilsners.
We even had time to see the pandas at the Zoo, and the incredible view from the TV Tower.
For three days, we shared thoughts, ideas and laughs.
And then we danced, all night long.
